Guy Carpenter completes acquisition of Athens-based Carpenter Turner

Guy Carpenter, the reinsurance broking arm of Marsh McLennan, has completed its previously announced acquisition of the remaining 51.5% of Carpenter Turner, an Athens-based reinsurance broking and advisory business.

Now operating as Guy Carpenter Greece, the business will reportedly deliver the global risk and reinsurance specialist’s comprehensive range of global capabilities, solutions, and advice.

These include treaty and facultative reinsurance, data and analytics, strategic advisory, and capital markets solutions, serving clients across the Greek and Cypriot markets, as well as the Balkans and Turkey.

Alexander Turner, formerly Carpenter Turner’s CEO, has now been named CEO of Guy Carpenter Greece, reporting to Julian Enoizi, CEO of Guy Carpenter Europe.
