DUAL launches A&H business in Europe led by Samia Baliad

DUAL Europe has announced the launch of its Accident & Health (A&H) business in Europe, led by Samia Baliad.

As Head of A&H, Europe, Baliad will focus on building a team of experienced underwriters to drive growth across the region.

With over 20 years of experience in the A&H sector, Baliad joins DUAL from AXA Partners, where she served as Global Head of Travel (corporate and affinity groups). Prior to that, Baliad was Head of Accident and Health/AVP at Chubb. She also held senior A&H roles at AXA Corporate Solutions and AIG.

The A&H market is a significant part of the European insurance landscape, and the growing demand for healthcare services presents opportunities for insurers and brokers to expand their offerings.

Starting in early 2025, DUAL Europe will focus on delivering a distinctive product that includes a digital app for simplified travel planning, easy online claims reporting, and a parametric service designed to enhance clients’ travel experience.

DUAL’s approach aims to offer tailored solutions that meet the evolving needs of this specialised market.
