BDO Cayman strengthens audit team with Gordon Procter and Rahul Garg

BDO in the Cayman Islands has announced the appointments of Gordon Procter as Audit Director and Rahul Garg as Audit Manager.

The addition of these two audit professionals align with BDO’s strategic growth plans to strengthen its insurance and reinsurance capabilities across the Caribbean.

Procter brings extensive experience in the Cayman re/insurance industry, having spent eight years at RSM Cayman, where he most recently served as Director for three years.

Before that, he worked as an Assistant Audit Manager at Grant Thornton LLP and held various positions at PwC.

Garg joins BDO from Ernst & Young, where he worked for five years, most recently as Manager. In this role, he led audit teams in conducting risk-based statutory audits across various insurance sectors, including property, casualty, life, health, and reinsurance. He also has prior experience at PwC.

Arbo added, “Rahul is a great addition to our insurance team here in Cayman and will help us to grow our fledgling practice in Bermuda.

“With a wide array of experience in both markets, we are very excited to have Rahul join us to be part of our growing team.”
