Great American promotes Vanessa Teo to Deputy CEO of its Singapore Branch

Great American Insurance Group has announced the promotion of Vanessa Teo to Deputy Chief Executive Officer of its Singapore Branch, under the flagship insurer, Great American Insurance Company.

In her expanded role, Teo will continue overseeing Finance & Operations while also taking on broader strategic responsibilities.

Teo has been with Great American Insurance Group for over a decade and was a key member of the team that established the Singapore Branch in 2014. She played a crucial role in setting up the branch, including its finance, business, and operations functions.

Since then, Teo has developed operational frameworks for finance, risk management, compliance, human resources, IT, business analytics, and corporate services.

Before joining Great American Insurance Group, she served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at QBE Asia. Earlier in her career, Teo held roles at MetLife, GE Insurance Solutions, IAG, ACE, and AIG.
