Argenta appoints Karen Collier as Construction & Engineering Underwriter

Argenta Syndicate Management Limited, a Lloyd’s managing agency, has announced the appointment of Karen Collier as Construction & Engineering Underwriter, effective immediately.

Based in London, she will report directly to Phil Hancock, Unit Head of Construction and Engineering. Collier, a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in the insurance industry, specialises in Construction, Engineering, and Liability underwriting.

Prior to joining Argenta, she held the role of Assistant Underwriter at Axis Capital. Her career also includes key positions such as Claims Manager at Independent Broking Solutions, Assistant Underwriter at Brit Insurance, and Underwriting Assistant at Montpelier.

In addition to her technical expertise, Collier has demonstrated leadership in operational excellence, spearheading initiatives in training, process improvement, and the development of risk management solutions.
