Milliman elects Bret Linton as Chair of the Board

Milliman, a global consulting and actuarial firm, has announced the election of Bret Linton as its next Chair of the Board.

Linton will succeed Ken Mungan, who is completing a 10-year term as Chair.

Linton brings extensive experience in leading global teams and working across both the employee benefits and management consulting sectors.

He joined Milliman in 2009 and most recently served as Global Practice Director for Employee Benefits, where he led four years of growth and fostered increased collaboration between Milliman’s retirement consulting and plan administration businesses.

Linton is a principal at Milliman’s Boise office, specialising in retirement plan consulting for both private and public employers. He has also helped lead Milliman’s global benefits affiliate, MBWL International, which provides benefits solutions to multinational companies.

Linton commented, “I’m excited by the opportunity to lead Milliman at this exciting time in the firm’s history, and I’m honored that my partners have chosen me for this important role.

“Milliman is at a unique point in its history, following an incredible decade of growth on Ken’s watch. We are a global company that does business in 75 countries, solving complex challenges for a world at risk.”

“I’m happy to pass the torch to Bret,” said Mungan. “We share a commitment to building retirement security, and to protecting the health and financial well-being of people everywhere. Milliman is an incredible firm that continues to attract the top talent in the industry, which is why we continue to be the go-to firm for solving the world’s most vexing risk challenges.”
