AXIS promotes Steve Cucciniello to Head of Primary Casualty

Bermuda-domiciled insurance and reinsurance company, AXIS Capital Holdings Limited, has promoted Steve Cucciniello to Head of Primary Casualty, effective immediately, reporting to Anna Tan, Head of Wholesale Casualty at AXIS.

Cucciniello has over three decades of industry experience, he joined AXIS in 2014 and has most recently served as Senior Vice President, Primary Casualty.

In his new role, Cucciniello will lead the AXIS Primary Casualty team, providing dedicated leadership for the portfolio.

His additional responsibilities include advancing the AXIS Primary Casualty strategy by partnering closely with strategic brokers and delivering elevated customer service.

This appointment according to the firm, underscores the focus on driving targeted growth within casualty by leveraging high-calibre talent for the industries it covers, including but not limited to construction, manufacturing, real estate, and hospitality.
