Westfield Specialty expands marine team with underwriter Ben Beaumont

Westfield Specialty International, a provider of specialty insurance and reinsurance solutions, has bolstered its marine team with the appointment of Ben Beaumont as a cargo underwriter.

Based in London, Beaumont will work closely with Matt Jenkins, Class Underwriter for Cargo, as part of the company’s efforts to strengthen its capabilities in the marine insurance sector.

Jon Hamilton, Head of Marine and Energy at Westfield Specialty International, added: “This is the first of several additions that we are making to our marine team this year as we expand our leadership and influence in the marine market.

Beaumont brings 13 years of industry experience to Westfield Specialty, having most recently spent four years with Allied World as part of their cargo underwriting team. His extensive background will contribute to Westfield Specialty’s continued growth and expertise in the marine insurance market.
