Sollers Consulting, a software integrator and operational advisor, has partnered with Duck Creek Technologies, a provider of software solutions for property and casualty (P&C) and general insurance, to help insurers modernise their reinsurance business.
With the insurance industry facing more frequent and severe loss events, securing suitable reinsurance has become increasingly challenging.
Through this new partnership, Sollers Consulting and Duck Creek aim to help insurance companies implement a modern, data-driven reinsurance management system.
Duck Creek is contributing its established Duck Creek Reinsurance platform, which helps insurers centralise, streamline, and automate reinsurance processes. This cloud-based solution gathers and analyses data from various internal sources.
Sollers’ international experience in integrating core systems will help insurance companies maximise the benefits of Duck Creek Reinsurance.
Krzysztof Biernat, London Market Lead at Sollers Consulting, said, “Reinsurance is going through a difficult time as increased frequency and intensity of NatCat events has made reinsurance purchasing much more difficult.
“We are very pleased to be working with Duck Creek to help insurance companies respond. Duck Creek Reinsurance offers a powerful solution. Our experience with complex system integrations in the insurance industry makes us confident that reinsurance management will take a significant step towards digitalisation.”
Elodie Hilderal, Managing Director of EMEA for Duck Creek Technologies, added, “This partnership marks a significant step forward in the digitalisation and automation of the reinsurance industry, and we are excited about the positive impact it will have on our clients.
“The combination of our advanced, cloud-based reinsurance solution and Sollers’ extensive experience with system integration will provide insurers with the tools they need to make informed decisions and streamline their reinsurance management processes.”
