Nick Griffiths to lead IRS Business Development & Strategy

Nick Griffiths has become the Director – Business Development and Strategy at International Risk Solutions Ltd (IRS), an independent Lloyd’s insurance and reinsurance broker.

Griffiths is joining IRS following his over three-year tenure at Inver Re, now Price Forbes Re and Ardonagh Specialty’s reinsurance business, where he served as Director of Reinsurance.

During his time at Price Forbes Re, renamed in 2024, he focused on alternative sources of reinsurance capital and insurance-linked securities (ILS).

Griffiths had joined the company from Howden where he served as an Executive Director in its reinsurance broking arm, having joined the firm in 2018.

Prior to that, the executive worked at RFIB Group Limited for ten years, latterly as Head of Broking of its reinsurance division. He also spent over a decade of his career working as a broker for Gallagher.
