Skuld reports strong P&I policy renewal and continued growth for 2025/26

Skuld, a global marine insurer, has announced the successful renewal of its protection and indemnity (P&I) policies for the 2025/26 policy year.

The company has welcomed a significant number of new members, increasing its entered mutual P&I gross tonnage (GT) by 6% as of 20 February. This figure does not include additional committed tonnage set to join Skuld later in the policy year.

As of 20 February 2025, Skuld’s mutual P&I tonnage stands at 122 million GT, reflecting growth in line with the targets set by its board.

Beyond P&I, Skuld continues to strengthen its position across various business lines, including hull and machinery, charterers, energy, and freight, demurrage, and defence (FDD).

This diversification strategy supports Skuld’s long-term growth objectives, ensuring the company remains well-capitalised and positioned for future expansion.
