Athene Holding names Louis-Jacques Tanguy EVP and CFO

Athene Holding Ltd., a retirement services company and subsidiary of Apollo Global Management, Inc., has appointed Louis-Jacques Tanguy as Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective March 1st, 2025.

Tanguy has over 25 years of extensive experience in accounting and finance. He has served as the Chief Accounting Officer for Apollo since early 2022.

Prior to this, he spent 13 years at Deutsche Bank as a Managing Director in various finance leadership roles in both London and New York.

Earlier in his career, Tanguy was the Head of the Asia Pacific Product Valuation Group for Merrill Lynch Japan Securities in Tokyo and has also worked at Société Générale in Paris and Asia in various roles in Finance and Risk.
