Trium adds TMK’s Hanna Metsanvirta to Syndicate 1322 Board

Trium Syndicate, a cyber and property catastrophe insurance specialist at Lloyd’s of London, has announced the appointment of Hanna Metsanvirta as Director of Underwriting Performance and Active Underwriter for syndicate 1322.

In her new role, Metsanvirta will join the s1322 Board and chair Trium’s Underwriting Committee, overseeing the implementation and performance of Trium’s underwriting strategy.

Josh Ladeau, CEO of Trium Cyber, commented, “Ms. Metsanvirta is a highly respected authority on syndicate strategy, underwriting oversight, product control, compliance and relationship management with Lloyd’s capital providers.”

Metsanvirta brings over 20 years of industry experience to her new role. She joins Trium from Tokio Marine Kiln, where she served as Head of Underwriting Management for six years. In that role, she was responsible for improving underwriting results, governance, and culture. She played a key role in transforming the syndicate into a top performer at Lloyd’s.

Prior to that, she spent three years at Lloyd’s, most recently as Oversight Manager. She has also held positions at MSIG, Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance, and KPMG Consulting.
