RLI announces leadership changes

RLI Corp. has appointed Craig W. Kliethermes, currently chief operating officer, as president and CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2022.
He will succeed Jonathan E. Michael, who is retiring as CEO at the end of this year. Mr. Michael will retain the title of chairman, a position he has held since 2011, the Peoria, Illinois-based specialty insurer said Wednesday.
Jennifer L. Klobnak, senior vice president, operations, will succeed Mr. Kliethermes as COO, a position he has held since 2016.
Mr. Kliethermes, who has 36 years of industry experience, joined RLI in 2006. Ms. Klobnak joined the company in 2000.
