The firm stated these appointments follow a series of significant milestones for Embroker, including two major product announcements and the launch of a new distribution channel for broker partners via its first-ever publicly available API.
Lea has over 20 years of industry experience, with expertise in successfully launching and operating underwriting platforms for Cyber, Tech E&O, MPL, Law and Accounting E&O, and other professional liability coverage programmes, and navigating various international markets.
He began his career in insurance as an underwriter and has held a series of senior positions at Marsh USA, Swiss Re, AIG and CNA. Most recently, Lea served as Chief Underwriting Officer at Vantage Risk.
Lea commented: “I am deeply committed to working with Embroker’s talented team of insurance experts to further hone and advance our ONE technology platform while developing incredible tailored solutions for our customers.
“Embroker is innovating and growing its product portfolio at a rapid pace, and I look forward to accelerating this hyper focus and continuing to expand our customised, vertical-specific solutions that deliver unmatched value for our customers.”

Most recently, Malm served as the Vice President of Operations at Embroker. She has a proven track record of streamlining operations and a hypersensitivity to providing impeccable customer experiences.
In this elevated role, Malm’s remit will focus on overall customer strategy, driving organisational excellence, and leading the customer success organisation.
Malm stated: “Stepping into this executive role allows me to take all of my experience and put it toward leading operational initiatives I’m passionate about and invested in for our business and our customers.
“Embroker is firing on all cylinders right now, and I look forward to taking that momentum forward for our customers, delivering cutting-edge self-service technology solutions, and bespoke premier service.”
