Insurtech hires former AIG UK finance chief

Singapore-based insurtech Bolttech Management Ltd. has hired former American International Group Inc. executive Romaney O’Malley as group chief financial officer.

London-based Ms. O’Malley will join Bolttech in February to replace Craig Merdian, who is retiring, a Bolttech statement said.

Previously, Ms. O’Malley was CFO for AIG UK. In 2017, she was named one of the Business Insurance Women to Watch.

Bolttech is an insurance exchange headed by Rob Schimek, who also previously held senior executive roles at AIG.
