Acrisure’s Eleven Network reveals its new leadership team

Global insurance broker Acrisure has announced a new leadership team for the Eleven Network, its UK-based retail insurance broking network.

Jeff Hobson has been appointed CEO of Eleven Network, joining from Burns & Wilcox, where he previously served as Northern Regional Director. Before that, he was Branch Manager at ACE Group.

Simon Cooter will be Chair of the Board. He joined the Eleven Network in October 2023 as a Non-Executive Director. He also holds several other roles, including Director at UNA Alliance Ltd, Non-Executive Director at Sutton Winson, and Non-Executive Director at Acrisure UK Retail, where he chairs the broking businesses.

Matt Dyer has been named Director. He is the founder of ITC Compliance, which was the largest Appointed Representative Network in the UK. His most recent roles include CEO of Nine AI Limited and Managing Director of ITC Property Development Limited.

Shahram Shayesteh will serve as Deputy CEO. He joined Acrisure in March 2023 as Chief Risk Officer and became Executive Director at Eleven Network in December of the same year. His previous experience includes roles as Head of Compliance at The Standard P&I Club and Charles Taylor.

Kat Cross has been appointed as CFO. She joined Acrisure in February 2024 after more than 20 years at Tysers, where she was CFO of the original Tyser firm and later became Deputy CFO of the broader organisation.

Chris Sedgley, who joined in February, will take on the role of Broking Director at Eleven Network. He previously spent five years at JTS Insurance Brokers, most recently as Managing Director, and before that, he was a Senior Account Executive at Three Sixty Insure.

David Cunningham has been named Head of Member Services. He has been with Acrisure for over a year, following more than 25 years leading sales and oversight at Close Brothers.

Russell Preece will serve as IT Director, responsible for overseeing all IT and data-related functions and managing the Helpdesk to ensure smooth operation of business systems, supporting Appointed Representatives and their clients.
