Guy Carpenter bolsters NA Regional Mutual and Personal Lines teams

Guy Carpenter, the reinsurance broking division of Marsh McLennan, has appointed Ridge Muhly as the Regional Mutual Segment Leader, effective August 19th, based in Philadelphia and Adam Kornick as the Personal Lines Segment Leader, effective September 3rd, based in Chicago.
The pair will report to Rob McKenzie, President of Sales and Segments, North America, Guy Carpenter.
Muhly’s remit as Regional Mutual Segment Leader will be working with regional mutual brokers, global analytics and advisory team to deliver reinsurance and advisory services to support clients.
Prior to this, he served at Gen Re for over 22 years, Muhly has built his career from Senior Underwriting Specialist to Senior Vice President and Treaty Manager, the last several years running the Mutual Practice in the firm’s treaty segment.
As Personal Lines Segment Leader, Kornick will work with the team to deliver reinsurance, analytics, capital and advisory solutions. He joins from Porch Group in Chicago where he was a management team member that took the company public, launched the Insurance Division and significantly grew property premiums.
From 2016 to 2020 Kornick was Allstate’s Chief Data Technologist, and before that, he held senior roles at Aviva and Progressive.
