AssuredPartners forms specialty wholesale unit

AssuredPartners Inc. said Monday it has introduced a specialty wholesale and program administration company, Accretive Insurance Solutions.
The statement said specialty and wholesale firms in the AssuredPartners family have been organized under the Accretive structure as of Jan. 1.
The new company will be led by Sean Smith, who will assume the role of chairman and CEO, the Lake Mary, Florida-based company said in its statement.
Mr. Smith previously served as president at AssuredPartners and CEO at Keenan, an AssuredPartners agency.
In January, AssuredPartners named Chubb Ltd. executive Mark Hammond as its chief financial officer, effective March 2.
