Howden Capital Markets & Advisory adds Des Potter as an Independent Non-Exec, UK

Howden Capital Markets & Advisory, the re/insurance broker’s capital markets and insurance-linked securities (ILS) arm, has strengthened its team by appointing Des Potter as an Independent Non-Executive Director in the UK.

Potter has over four decades of experience in reinsurance broking, investment banking, and corporate finance having served in roles at Barclays Bank, Aon Benfield Securities, and GC Securities.

Most recently, he acted as a Special Advisor to the Chief Financial Officer of Lloyd’s, advising the executive team about enhancing access for institutional investors to support the growth of the Lloyd’s market.
