DUAL UK acquires International Passenger Protection

DUAL UK, part of the specialist underwriting arm of Howden Group, has announced its acquisition of International Passenger Protection (IPP) in both the UK and Malta, subject to regulatory approval.

This acquisition strengthens DUAL UK’s position as a key player in the Travel Financial Failure insurance market.

Founded in 1990, IPP is a London-based managing general agent (MGA) that provides coverage against insolvency of travel operators and related suppliers. IPP offers a range of products designed to protect travellers from financial losses due to the failure or bankruptcy of travel-related companies.

Simon McGinn, CEO of DUAL UK, commented, “IPP is a pioneer in all the products they offer and is recognised as a leader in the travel sector. This acquisition adds a strong new product set to DUAL’s UK portfolio, and positions us as the market leader in Travel Financial Failure insurance.”
