Tokio Marine Kiln appoints Stephanie Hong as Marine Underwriter, APAC

Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK), part of the global insurance group Tokio Marine, has appointed Stephanie Hong as a Marine Underwriter in Asia Pacific (APAC), based in Singapore, effective immediately.

In her new role, Hong is responsible for deepening the firm’s presence in target markets across Asia.

Her appointment is the latest in a series of new hires for TMK in Singapore, following that of Yixiang Yang joining as Head of Accident and Health, APAC.

Hong is a marine insurance specialist and brings over two decades of marine experience in APAC to her new role. Most recently, she served at Great American as the Senior Manager for Marine Cargo.

Before this, Hong held roles at Starr Insurance, Chubb, and Federal Insurance Company, part of The Chubb Corporation.
