Willis hires Aon construction executive

Willis Towers Watson PLC said Wednesday it has hired Aon PLC construction executive Doug Wheeler as contract surety leader for North America in its risk and broking business.

Mr. Wheeler will be responsible for driving new business sales, growing client relationships, and overseeing the North America team. He will be based in Radnor, Pennsylvania, and report to Scott Hull, global head of surety.

Mr. Wheeler previously served as regional managing director for the construction services group at Aon.
