Hub acquires South Carolina-based agribusiness specialist

Hub International Ltd. said Friday it has acquired Midland Agency Insurance Corp., a Columbia, South Carolina-based agency that places specialty coverage for the agribusiness sector.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Midland Agency Insurance founder and President Matthew Flemming and staff will join Hub Carolinas.
