IQUW adds Peter Hearn as Independent Non-Exec Director to Bermuda Board

IQUW, a property and specialty insurer and reinsurer, has appointed Peter Hearn as an Independent Non-Executive Director to the IQUW Holdings Bermuda Board.

Hearn is an industry veteran with over four decades of experience in the global insurance and reinsurance broker sector.

Throughout his career, he has held various senior leadership roles, most recently as Marsh McLennan’s Vice Chair and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Guy Carpenter & Company LLC.

Hearn’s appointment follows the addition of Ed Noonan, former Chairman and CEO of Validus Holdings, who joined the IQUW Board last year.

The firm stated that together, Hearn and Noonan represent two of the most influential figures in the industry, further strengthening IQUW’s expertise by offering diverse perspectives on market dynamics and client needs.

The pair’s counsel will be instrumental as IQUW adapts to the evolving risk landscape, providing an additional view of the company’s strategic direction.
