HDI Global launches US Inland Marine unit led by Rebecca Molosky

HDI Global Insurance Company, the US branch of the global commercial insurer HDI Global SE, has launched a new Inland Marine unit as part of its expansion of specialty products and services in the region.
Rebecca Molosky will head the Inland Marine unit, reporting directly to Marco Hensel, Chief Underwriting Officer of HDI Global US.
In her new role, she will be based in Ohio and will focus on building up the Midwest book, concentrating primarily on construction and transportation risks. Utilising HDI’s network capabilities, national expansion across all 50 states is planned for early 2025.
Based in Ohio, Molosky will focus on growing the company’s presence in the Midwest, particularly in construction and transportation risks. HDI plans to expand this unit nationwide across all 50 states by early 2025.
Molosky joins HDI Global from CNA Insurance, where she was the Inland Marine Underwriting Consulting Director for nearly seven years.
Previously, she worked as an Inland Marine Account Executive at Travelers, as well as a Claims Consultant Associate at Marsh.
Hensel expressed his enthusiasm for Molosky’s appointment, stating, “As we expand our product offerings, Rebecca’s strong relationship-building abilities, comprehensive coverage expertise, and exceptional customer service skills will be invaluable in driving growth in the Inland Marine sector.”
