TMHCCI adds Howden’s Fox to Marine Special Risk team

Tokio Marine HCC International (TMHCCI), is strengthening its Marine Special Risk team with the appointment of Victoria Fox as Marine Special Risks Senior Underwriter. She will be taking over her new role with immediate effect.

TMHCCI launched the Marine Special Risks team in February 2024, with Paul Knighton spearheading the offering, and to whom Fox will be reporting to.

Marine Special Risks combines the existing Logistics, Marine Trades, and Marine Property portfolios into a single unit, led by Knighton, who is purported by Sarah Cracroft and William Meyer.

This restructuring aims to improve risk understanding and develop a more strategic approach for the marine market, according to TMHCCI.

“The launch of the Marine Special Risks offering earlier this year is indicative of the TMHCCI philosophy. We are constantly striving to better understand the risks our clients face and develop solutions that truly reflect their needs,” Knighton stated.

Joining from Howden, Fox brings over ten years of marine insurance experience to the new team. During her time at Howden, she led the development of its inhouse marine trade product.

Prior to this, Fox served as an underwriter in IGI’s London marine team and has also held roles at MS Amlin and AJ Gallagher.

Commenting on Fox’s appointment, Knighton said: “I am delighted to welcome Victoria to the team. She brings extensive experience and a proven track record in developing new products and wordings. Her expertise will be invaluable as we look to continue to expand our offering and client focused approach.”
