Aon names Jon Pipe as Head of Commercial Risk, Asia

Broking group Aon has selected Jon Pipe as Head of Commercial Risk, Asia with effect from November 2024.
Pipe has 18+ years of experience with Aon, and has worked within the London, Hong Kong and Indonesia markets.
In April 2019, he relocated to India to lead the growth agenda for a company that has since become part of the Aon family.
In his new role as Head of Commercial Risk, Asia, Pipe will work in partnership with local, regional and global teams, responsible for driving growth across the segment.
Until November, Pipe will reportedly continue to work alongside Rishi Mehra and the Aon India leadership team to ensure consistency and continuity, relocating to Singapore in early 2025.
In related news, Aon recently announced the appointment of Chris Simmons as Head of Health UK.
Simmons has been with the broking group for 22 years in various senior roles, including his most recent position as Chief Broking Officer for UK Health over the past three years.
