Swiss Re CorSo announces new leadership roles for Hassan Karim & Devpriya Misra

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, the commercial insurance arm of reinsurer Swiss Re, has expanded Hassan Karim’s role to Head of Customer & Distribution Management for Asia Pacific (APAC) and appointed Devpriya Misra as Client Solutions Lead.

Before this expansion, Karim was the Head of Distribution Management & Partnerships for APAC, overseeing strategy, business development, and relationship management of the firm’s distribution channels and partners across the region. His focus was on delivering innovative, customer-centric solutions.

Prior to joining Swiss Re, Karim was Head of Strategy for APAC at Zurich Insurance, where he addressed major strategic questions related to growth, digital, customer centricity, and ESG.

He also served as CEO and President Director of Zurich Asuransi Indonesia, as well as senior roles at Hiscox, Chartered Insurance Institute Hong Kong, and Sky.

In his new role, Misra will have a dual global and APAC focus, enhancing Swiss Re Corporate Solutions’ offerings for key clients.

Misra has been with the company for over eight years, most recently as Director. Prior to that, he worked at Swiss Re as Vice President for six years.
