Nina Duft joins Gallagher as CFO and COO for Europe

Gallagher UK has announced the appointment of Nina Duft in the joint role of Chief Finance Officer (CFO) and Chief Operations Officer (COO) for Europe.

Duft is an experienced finance professional with a strong track record in financial reporting, financial planning and financial controls, as well as business strategy.

The executive is joining the company from Janitos Versicherung, an insurance organisation based in Germany, where she most recently served as CFO and Member of the Board, roles she held for more than three years.

Before this, Duft worked for 15 years at AIG in a range of senior European finance roles. She joined the company in 2005 as Deputy CAO, she was then appointed Head of FP&A Central zone before being named CFO Germany and North Europe Finance Lead.

Duft also served as AIG Program Manager before being appointed EMEA Head of Financial Planning & Finance Operations.

Earlier in the month, Gallagher also announced the appointment of Aon’s Bruce Dettling, who has joined the company as Global Head of Mining and Heavy Industry.

He will be responsible for the firm’s global specialist practice with teams based in the UK, Latin America, Canada and Australia.
