West Bend enhances underwriting with ZestyAI’s AI-powered risk analytics

West Bend Insurance Company has expanded its partnership with ZestyAI to incorporate more AI-powered risk analytics into its underwriting process.

West Bend will now utilise ZestyAI’s property risk platform, Z-PROPERTY, to improve the accuracy of its underwriting and renewal processes for personal lines insurance.

Z-PROPERTY uses AI and computer vision to analyse aerial and satellite images, building permits, and other data on over 150 million properties. By continuously monitoring property conditions, maintenance, and upgrades, it helps West Bend proactively manage risk and provide accurate coverage for its customers.

The platform integrates verified data from various sources, including historical imagery and building permits, providing West Bend with a comprehensive view of its property portfolio.

This integration of advanced analytics will streamline West Bend’s underwriting process, enabling faster, more informed decisions while ensuring that trained representatives make final coverage decisions.
