Milliman’s Chair of the Board Ken Mungan to retire after 10-year term

Milliman, a global consulting and actuarial firm, has announced that its Chair of the Board, Ken Mungan, will retire in early 2025 after completing a full 10-year, term-limited tenure.

Mungan’s leadership has been marked by significant growth, expansion into new markets, and a strong commitment to the company’s mission.

Dermot Corry, CEO of Milliman, stated, “Ken is an accomplished leader and prolific innovator, and he has spent the last decade directing those abilities toward making Milliman a stronger and more varied global business.”

He added, “One of Ken’s many legacies has been to unite the people of Milliman around our mission, which is to serve our clients to protect the health and financial wellbeing of people everywhere.”

During Mungan’s tenure, Milliman saw consistent annual revenue growth, reaching a total increase of 94% over 10 years. The firm also expanded by opening new offices in 11 countries and acquiring 11 companies, among other notable achievements.

Milliman’s new Chair will be selected by its principals and will serve a five-year term, with the possibility of a second five-year term. The new Chair is expected to be publicly announced in late January 2025.
