Oceanview Re names Michael Ward as VP and CFO

Oceanview Reinsurance Ltd., the Bermuda-domiciled reinsurance subsidiary of Oceanview Holdings Ltd., has appointed Michael C. Ward as Vice President (VP) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
His appointment follows Oceanview’s recent expansion of its global reinsurance operations with the establishment of Oceanview Secure Reinsurance Ltd. in the Cayman Islands.
In his new role, Ward takes on oversight of the firm’s finance and reporting functions, maintaining its commitment to financial excellence and supporting its strategic initiatives.
Ward has over 16 years of experience in the reinsurance industry and deep expertise in financial leadership, regulatory reporting, capital management, and process optimization.
Before this, he served as Financial Controller at Argus Group, responsible for financial operations, regulatory compliance, and capital management. Previously, he served as Head of Regulatory Reporting and Treasury Operations at Argus Group and Manager at Kane (Bermuda) Limited.
