Matthew Williams named MD of rradar’s new insurance venture rrelentless

rradar, a UK legal enterprise, has announced the appointment of Matthew Williams as Managing Director (MD) of its newly launched insurance vehicle, rrelentless.

By leveraging Williams’ expertise, he will help to drive forward the firm’s strategic growth plans, through providing innovative solutions that help businesses better manage risk in an increasingly complex global environment.

At rrelentless, he will lead a growing group of underwriters, instrumental in driving the success of the company’s commercial insurance offerings, including its first Cyber Insurance product -launched in March 2024 and is backed by AXA capacity.

As MD, Williams will also lead the launch of additional commercial insurance products from rrelentless throughout 2025 and beyond, expanding into new areas of cover to support many thousands more organisations through its cutting-edge digital trading platform, and its enviable network of broker partners.

A qualified solicitor, Williams brings with him strong credentials as an insurance leader, previously serving as Chief Executive Officer of AMT Intermediaries, a holding company for Managing General Agencies (MGAs) owned by AmTrust International.

Prior to that position, he played a pivotal role in leading the development of AmTrust’s specialised legal expenses insurance division, expanding its reach and presence across multiple countries, including the UK, Australia, Canada, and Scandinavia.

Williams also served as Executive Chair for Runnymede Law, his most recent role.
