Lilypad Insurance acquires Centauri Specialty Insurance & Centauri National Insurance

Lilypad Insurance Holdings has completed its acquisition of Centauri Specialty Insurance Company and Centauri National Insurance Company, effective September 30th, 2024, following the receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals.

The strategic acquisition aims to strengthen Lilypad Insurance Holdings’ footprint in the coastal property insurance market and leverage Centauri’s extensive industry experience.

Established in 2011 by Ricardo Espino, Centauri Insurance is known for its property and casualty insurance products and will continue its operations seamlessly under Lilypad Insurance.

Centauri Insurance serves policyholders across seven states, including Alabama, Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Texas.

Lilypad Insurance Holdings has affirmed its dedication to maintaining Centauri’s current product offerings and operational standards, ensuring a seamless transition for customers.
