Gallagher Re hires new Head of Agriculture EMEA & Parametric Sales International

Global reinsurance broker Gallagher Re has announced the appointment of Abdessamad El Angoudi as Head of Agriculture EMEA and Senior Parametrics Sales for International.
In his new role, El Angoudi will collaborate closely with Shilpa Pankaj, International Head of Agriculture at Gallagher Re, and Antoine Bavandi, the firm’s Global Head of Public/Private and Parametrics, as well as all regional teams.
El Angoudi joins Gallagher Re after nearly 13 years at Liberty Mutual Re, where he most recently served as Senior Reinsurance Underwriter – Agriculture & Parametrics.
Before his long tenure at Liberty Mutual Re, he worked at SCOR as a Retrocession & ILS Analyst.
In a recent LinkedIn post, El Angoudi shared, “After nearly 13 rewarding years at Liberty Mutual Re, where I had the privilege of working alongside an incredible team and contributing to meaningful projects, I’m excited to embark on this new journey.”
“At Gallagher Re, I will be focusing on expanding Agriculture and Parametric business across EMEA and beyond,” he added.
