Ascot Group appoints Edel Chatterton as Chief Financial Officer, UK

Bermuda-based global specialty insurer Ascot Group has announced the appointment of Edel Chatterton as Chief Financial Officer, Ascot U.K. and Ascot Underwriting Limited (AUL).

In this role, Chatterton will oversee Ascot U.K.’s finance organisation and capital strategy, including financial planning and analysis, tax, and treasury functions.

She brings 20 years of industry experience, having held senior finance roles with increasing responsibility in global risk management firms.

Most recently, Chatterton served as Chief Financial Officer at Liberty Insurance Company Europe.

Before that, she was Head of Capital, Investments, and Treasury Management at Liberty Specialty Markets. Earlier in her career, she held roles at Hiscox and KPMG.
