Oliver Wyman Actuarial expands European P&C services with London office

Oliver Wyman Actuarial, a specialist business within the Oliver Wyman Group, has strengthened its property and casualty (P&C) capabilities in Europe by establishing a London-based presence.

To lead this expansion, Matthew Facey has joined the firm as Partner, based in London.

In his new role, Facey will focus on developing Oliver Wyman Actuarial’s European practice to meet the diverse needs of carriers.

This initiative aims to enhance the firm’s ability to serve clients across both the UK and Europe, working closely with Oliver Wyman’s management consulting practice and leveraging the expertise of the Marsh McLennan group, which includes Marsh, Guy Carpenter, and Mercer.

Facey brings over 23 years of actuarial experience in the European P&C and technology sectors, advising a wide range of insurance companies and Lloyd’s of London syndicates.

Previously, Facey spent 13 years at WTW in senior roles, most recently as Senior Director and London Market leader for WTW ICT UKI P&C. Before that, he was an Actuarial Consultant at EMB Consultancy LLP.
