J.S. Held has announced Lee Spirer, the company’s current President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) is to become the company’s next Chief Executive Officer (CEO) as Jonathon Held intends to step down from the role.
J.S. Held is a global consulting firm that combines technical, scientific, financial, and strategic expertise to advise clients seeking to realize value and mitigate risk.
The company’s leadership transition will become effective at the beginning of the second quarter of 2025. As part of this planned succession, Held will assume the role of Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors.
In his new role as Executive Chairman, he will continue to offer strategic guidance to ensure the company optimises value creation for continued growth while taking on an increased client-facing role, providing strategic advisory and dispute resolution consulting, largely within the insurance industry.

Jon Held stated: “Lee Spirer’s extensive experience and proven ability to drive strategy focused on financial results and operational excellence positions Lee as the ideal chief executive to lead our team through our next phase of growth.
