AIA China receives approval to expand into Anhui Province

AIA China has received approval from the National Financial Regulatory Administration Anhui Bureau to begin setting up a new branch in Anhui province.

Located in Eastern China, Anhui province has a gross domestic product (GDP) of RMB4.7 trillion and a population exceeding 60 million, including approximately 17 million middle-class consumers. The province is strategically positioned to play a key role in the Yangtze River Delta integration plan, which is driving the development of this emerging economic zone.

Hefei, Anhui’s capital, has attracted skilled professionals nationwide to its growing sectors, including new energy vehicles, green industries, and information technology, creating a rising demand for comprehensive insurance solutions.
