Beazley’s Greenwood and Talbot’s Woolley join LMA board

The Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) has announced the addition of two new representatives to its board: Bethany Greenwood, CEO of Beazley Furlonge Limited and Beazley’s Group Head of Specialty Risks, and Emma Woolley, CEO of Talbot Underwriting Ltd.

Greenwood joined Beazley in 2019, since then, she has held a number of senior positions, including Head of Executive Risk and Head of Cyber & Executive Risk.

Prior to Beazley, the executive spent close to two decades at Marsh, with her last role leading the West Zone for Marsh’s FINPRO division.

Woolley has recently become the CEO of Global insurer AIG’s Talbot Underwriting, an international insurer and reinsurer operating within the specialist Lloyd’s marketplace via Syndicates 1183 and 2019.

The executive served as Global Head of Marine at AIG for more than two years, having joined the firm in October 2022 after four years with Bermuda-based Lancashire Insurance Group as CEO of Lancashire Syndicates Limited.

Commenting on the new board additions, Sheila Cameron, Chief Executive Officer of the LMA, said: “I am pleased to welcome both Bethany and Emma to the LMA board.

“Their collective sector and market knowledge will be of significant value to the LMA board as we continue to maintain the Lloyd’s market’s position at the forefront of global insurance.”

The Association also announced that Rob Anarfi and Chris Rash have stepped down from the LMA board.

Andrew Brooks, Chairman of the LMA, said: “I would like to extend my thanks to Rob and Chris for their time on the LMA board. Their many contributions have been invaluable.”
