SRS Altitude appoints Jan Bachmann from Swiss Re CorSo as new CUO

Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS), an independent insurance company manager, has announced the appointment of Jan Bachmann as the Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) at SRS Altitude, a subsidiary of SRS. His new role will commence on April 1st.

In this position, Bachmann will oversee Altitude’s underwriting portfolio and be responsible for designing structural solutions and assessing underwriting risks across various non-standard solutions.

Ron Sulisz, President of SRS, expressed excitement about Bachmann’s appointment, highlighting his experience and capabilities: “With his extensive knowledge and expertise, I am confident that his addition to the team will greatly contribute to the success of the company.”

Bachmann brings seven years of experience from Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, where he most recently served as the Head of Innovative Risk Solutions EMEA.

Over his 25-year career, he has held various technical and leadership positions across sectors such as underwriting, alternative risk transfer, and natural catastrophe modelling.
