Aon promotes Erich Lowe to Property Leader, Greater New York

Global re/insurance broker Aon has promoted Erich Lowe to the role of Property Leader for Greater New York, effective immediately.

Lowe will report to Brian Simons, Eastern & Southern Region Property Leader and Managing Director for Aon.

Simons commented on the promotion, “Erich’s embrace of Aon’s analytics strategy is helping a diverse set of clients make more informed decisions, especially as they navigate new and emerging risks.

“We are pleased to have the opportunity to promote a proven leader in our business to further advance how we serve property clients.”

Lowe joined Aon in 2013 as an Account Specialist through the Aon Launch: Early Career Development Program.

His remit in the role was supporting the firm’s Chief Operating Officer for greater New York with responsibility for analytics focused on new business, operational efficiencies and E&O mitigation.

Since then, he has served in several positions of increasing responsibility at the firm, including working on Aon’s middle market property and casualty broking team, which identifies insurance solutions for clients across a broad spectrum of industries.

Most recently, Lowe served as the Senior Vice President of Aon’s property practice, where he led a high-performing team with responsibility for the structuring, placing and servicing of large complex property insurance programs for clients across the real estate, retail, food and beverage, technology, communications and media industries.
