Aon names Uri Dallal as New York City market leader

Aon, the global insurance and reinsurance broker, has appointed Uri Dallal as the firm’s New York City market leader, effective immediately. He will report to Christine Williams, Northeast region leader at Aon.

In the new role, Dallal will oversee all strategic and tactical operations of the firm’s New York office. Additionally, he will lead and drive the growth plans across all Aon solution lines.

His remit will also include managing the New York portfolio of clients, along with driving revenue growth and maintaining accountability for overall office results.

Dallal is an Aon veteran, having been with the broker for more than 14 years. Most recently, he served as a Managing Director and the U.S. regional leader within Aon’s Financial Services Group (FSG), residing in New York.

In this role, he oversaw the public directors and officers teams nationally while being formally involved in complex FSG placements. He assisted in strategic decision-making as well as placement and claims negotiations.

Dallal has also served as a Managing Director, East Region Leader for more than four years. His other roles with the broker include Managing Director, New York Leader, Senior Vice President, Team Leader and Vice President.

Before joining Aon in 2009, Dallal had more than seven years of management liability experience, working for brokerages and insurance companies.
