Malakut appoints Sogo Yasuda as CCO of Japanese Business

Malakut, an international group of re/insurance brokers, has recently appointed Sogo Yasuda as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Japanese Business, a newly established department aimed at integrating Japanese insurance brokerage services globally.

In his new role, Yasuda will lead the development of the group’s global Japanese capabilities by collaborating with strong network partners worldwide.

Bernd Martens, Commercial Director of Malakut Group, expresses his enthusiasm for Yasuda’s appointment, stating, “Sogo’s leadership style is characterised by exceptional communication skills and a talent for fostering collaboration and coordination within the team. Before joining Malakut, Yasuda served as the CCO for Japan Global Solutions, EMEA at Aon. Prior to that, he held the position of Senior Vice President for Japanese business at Marsh. He also worked with Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance.
