Ardonagh Advisory expands into northwest England through SIB Insurance acquisition

Ardonagh Advisory has expanded its presence in the northwest of England with the recent acquisition of Southport Insurance Brokers Limited (SIB Insurance), an independent commercial broker.
Founded in 1965, SIB Insurance is a well-established regional broker offering insurance coverage for a broad range of risks, with strong expertise in the Industrial, Care and Agricultural sectors.
The company prioritises building strong client relationships by offering expert advice from insurance specialists.
Ian Robertson, Managing Director of SIB Insurance, will continue to lead the business, supported by his current management team.
Richard Tuplin, CEO at Advisory Insurance Broking, commends SIB Insurance as a “high-quality regional broker with clear specialisms that has earned the respect of its longstanding client-base over many decades by delivering excellent service.”
Tuplin mentions that within Ardonagh Advisory, they have developed expertise in supporting new businesses to remain client-focused while helping them grow.
