Alliant adds former Willis public entity executive

Alliant Insurance Services Inc. on Friday named former Willis Towers Watson PLC public entity leader Mark Goode as senior executive vice president and managing director.

Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Mr. Goode will establish a public entity, education and pooling practice for Alliant, expanding its presence throughout the Eastern seaboard.

He will lead the practice servicing schools, universities, municipalities, states and pooling agencies, Alliant said in a statement.

Mr. Goode was previously managing director of the North America public entity and education practice at Willis.

Alliant is the 10th largest brokerage of U.S. business, according to Business Insurance’s latest ranking.
