Skyward Specialty names senior vice presidents

Skyward Specialty Insurance Group Inc. said Tuesday it has named Jim Mormile, formerly senior vice president at QBE North America, as senior vice president and head of professional lines.

The Houston-based insurer said also it has named Anita Rogers, formerly vice president of claims at James River Insurance Co., as senior vice president of specialty claims.

Skyward also named several underwriters in its Midwest and Southeast regions to expand its professional liability and management liability lines.

Skyward said in June it has entered into a partnership with Denver-based reThought Insurance Corp., a technology and underwriting managing general agent that will underwrite complex commercial flood risks.
