Aon names former TigerRisk exec to reinsurance post

Aon PLC said Thursday it has named former TigerRisk Partners LLC executive Joe Sergio Jackson to the newly created position of senior managing director of its Reinsurance Solutions unit.

Mr.  Jackson will focus on property accounts regionally and globally and have additional responsibilities across segments of casualty and retrocession business, Aon said in a statement.

Based in New York, he reports to Greggory  Clark, executive managing director, and Randy Stanco, senior managing director, of the unit.

Mr. Jackson was most recently a reinsurance broker with TigerRisk. He began his career in 2006 at reinsurance broker Benfield, which later became Aon Benfield and then Reinsurance Solutions.
