Swiss Re recruits cyber exec Coletti from Axa XL

John A. Coletti, New York-based chief underwriting officer for cyber and technology in North America for Axa XL, a unit of Axa SA, will join Swiss Re as its head of global cyber, the reinsurer said Thursday.

Swiss Re said in its statement it plans to create a central cyber underwriting team. The current head of cyber solution, Maya Bundt, has decided to assume a newly created role at the Swiss Re Institute’s Cyber Centre of Competence.

Swiss Re said the central cyber underwriting ream will assume global responsibility for its cyber underwriting and product development activities. Mr. Coletti will report to Gregory Schiffer, Armonk, New York-based head of global specialty.
